Transform Lives
Every grant. Every helping hand. Every act of support creates a ripple that never stops. These are the people behind our mission.
the Month
She has carried hope across continents.
Marina’s story has crossed cities, countries, and entire chapters of life. Born in what was then Leningrad, now St. Petersburg, her journey carried her through Vienna, Rome, and eventually to the Bronx. Through it all, she has remained an artist at heart — creating through graphic design, drawing, and painting, finding ways to bring beauty into the world even when life demanded extraordinary strength from her. Born with polio, Marina has faced physical challenges most people will never fully understand. But today, her story is moving in a powerful new direction. She is standing. She is building strength. And with continued encouragement, support, and belief, she is working toward a goal that once may have felt out of reach: walking on her own two feet by summer. What makes Marina so inspiring is not only the progress she is making, but the spirit with which she meets it. Her attitude is radiant. Her determination is unmistakable. Every step forward, every moment of standing taller, carries the feeling of a life opening wider than before. Marina is a miracle in motion — a vivid reminder that with faith, courage, and people willing to believe alongside you, transformation can happen right in front of our eyes. She is the H M Tucker Inc Story of the Month for April, and her journey is one worth celebrating.
