With the guidance of healthy suggestions and conversations from H M Tucker, I found truth in every word. My life today is proof of it. I can now say, more than once, that I truly love myself. Before, I didn’t. Tucker greeted me one morning in 2004 at a coffee shop, and I felt accepted for being me right away.

Changes didn’t happen overnight — I had to test this theory of his. And so it goes. He was right every time. The pain will always be there if I let it. Trust that God has it under control and help others. Do the right thing. Don't assume.

I’m grateful today that I can freely pass this message on — the one that was given to me — to my family, friends, and colleagues. They, in turn, are passing it to their families and friends because of the positive outcomes that are clearly present in each of our lives.

By overcoming failure and a heavy heart, I was able to land one of my dream careers in a highly reputable international union as an operating engineer. From being at many rock bottoms to being chosen to work on a LIEBHERR 1300 crawler crane at the new Buffalo Bills stadium — sometimes I have to pinch myself to see if I’m dreaming. Who would have thought that I would be able to do this? I just went for it. What did I have to lose?

I am very grateful for H M Tucker Inc. He has definitely helped guide me into who I’ve become just by believing in me when I couldn't believe in myself.
