Get Help
Whether you're facing a financial barrier, navigating a difficult transition, or simply don't know where to start — we're here to listen, guide, and help you find the best path forward.
More Than a Hand.
A Hand That Guides.
We work alongside people — not just for them. That means listening first, understanding your full situation, and helping you navigate the best options available, whether that's direct support from us or connecting you to the right outside resources.
Personal Guidance
Every situation is different. We take the time to understand yours — your goals, your barriers, and what kind of support will actually make a difference. We don't process applications. We listen to people.
Direct Financial Support
When appropriate, we provide direct financial assistance — scholarships, education grants, and emergency micro-relief for people facing urgent hardship. Support is awarded based on real need, not paperwork.
Resource Navigation
We maintain a curated hub of trusted government and community resources — organized by category so people can quickly find real, actionable help for housing, veteran support, family services, healthcare, job training, and more.

Everything You Need to Know
Clear answers to the questions we hear most often — so you know exactly what to expect before you reach out.
No. Absolutely not. There is no fee to submit a request, no fee to be reviewed, and no fee to receive support of any kind from H M Tucker Inc. Any individual or organization that charges you a fee to access our services is not affiliated with us. If you're ever in doubt, contact us directly at support@hmtuckerinc.org.
We serve a wide community — students, families, veterans, working adults, and individuals navigating difficult transitions. You don't need to fit a specific profile or category. If you're facing a real challenge and you're not sure where to turn, reach out. We'll listen and help figure out the best path forward together.
We help in two meaningful ways. First, direct financial support — scholarships and education grants for students facing financial barriers, and emergency micro-relief for urgent situations disrupting someone's stability. Second, guidance and navigation — helping people understand their options, identify resources they didn't know existed, and move forward with a clearer path. Not every situation requires a check. Sometimes the most valuable thing we can do is help someone see what's possible.
A member of our team reviews every request personally — this is not automated. We follow up at the email address you provided within 2 business days (Monday–Friday). Our response will either confirm next steps, ask a specific follow-up question, or connect you with a resource that fits your situation. You'll always know where things stand.
No. The intake request only needs your basic contact information and a description of your situation. Don't gather anything before you reach out. If verification is needed later, we'll reach out and tell you exactly what to send. We keep it simple and targeted.
Yes. Your information is used only to review and respond to your request. We do not sell, share, or distribute personal information to third parties. All submissions are handled confidentially within our organization. You can review our full Privacy Policy for details.
Absolutely. Tell us what's going on in your own words and let us figure out the rest together. Part of what we do is help people identify their options when they feel stuck or overwhelmed. You don't need to have it figured out before you ask.
Every request is reviewed individually based on need, situation, and available resources. We don't use automated scoring or a points system. Real people review real situations — factors include urgency, the nature of the barrier, and how support would create meaningful forward momentum. Submitting a request is not a guarantee of financial support, but every request is read and every person receives a thoughtful, personal response.
We've been doing this for over 17 years because we genuinely believe every person deserves to be met with dignity and care. When you reach out to us, you're not entering an automated queue or filling out a government form — you're talking to people who are committed to this work. We combine direct financial assistance with real guidance, and we stay connected to the communities we serve through our podcast, through partnerships, and through consistently showing up over time.
Yes. Counselors, social workers, teachers, family members, and advocates can submit on behalf of someone who needs help. Describe the situation and note that you're reaching out on someone else's behalf. We'll respond to you and work through the process together.
Email us at support@hmtuckerinc.org or use the Contact page. We aim to respond within 2 business days. For urgent situations, please note that in your message and we'll prioritize accordingly.
